How to Play
Move your chessmen according to their specific movement rules. Pawns move ahead one square, but capture diagonally. Rooks slide freely in a linear path. Knights jump in an L-pattern, ignoring other pieces. Clergymen move diagonally any number of squares. The Queen combines the moves of a Castle and Clergyman. The King moves one square in all directions. Guard your King at all costs to avoid checkmate. Take opponent pieces by moving to their square. Check the opponent's King by targeting it directly. Win by placing the opponent's King in checkmate. Engage against the computer or a friend in alternating moves. Strategize your moves carefully to outmaneuver your opponent.
